We stand by young adults with cancer.

The German Foundation for Young Adults with Cancer supports young people aged 18 to 39 affected by cancer. It also serves as a trusted point of contact for families, healthcare professionals, researchers, policymakers and the wider public. In close collaboration with young adults, medical specialists and experts from different fields, we develop practical support services, provide reliable information on the topic Young & Cancer, and award annual research scholarships to promote studies and projects that improve care for young adults with cancer. The Foundation also engages in policy advocacy to improve and strengthen comprehensive care structures and enhance long-term support.

Founded in 2014 by the German Society for Haematology and Medical Oncology e.V. (DGHO), the Foundation is a registered non-profit organisation funded mainly through donations.
